Every year NAMI  Walks Greater Los Angeles County makes a powerful statement to our community as we advance on our goal of Mental Health for All.

Participating in a NAMI Walks event is a great way to support mental health services and raise awareness for mental health. Joining a NAMI Walks event is a rewarding experience that can make a difference in the lives of those affected by mental illness.

Organizations and people who participated were encouraged to fundraise before the event by asking friends, family, and colleagues to donate to their team or individual fundraising page. By raising funds and awareness for mental health, we can help make a positive impact in your community.

The 2023 NAMI Walks Greater Los Angeles County is the first ever Mental Health Fest and Walk. At this year’s Mental Health Fest, everyone connected with other walkers, non-profits, a lot of available resources, free massages, free meditation classes, a dog parade, and so much more. It was also a great day to walk with friends and family.

The NAMI Walks event typically involves a walk or a run, with participants completing a designated course. The walk is usually followed by a festival or other activities to celebrate the participants and raise awareness for mental health.

NAMI Walks is a fun and important event that brings people together to support mental health services and awareness.
